Thanks to our friendly friends Nick and Katie we were able to come by this old nuclear plant opened in the 1950's, with expectations to build a aircraft that can run off nuclear power and never have to stop for fuel, also they were testing the effects of radiation on wildlife in the area. The plant closed in 1971 and the city of Atlanta bought it with hopes of building another airport, thought that never happened. There's all types of rumors of three eyed deer, albino bear, and weird stuff like that, and nobody really knows why the plant shut down. So its a great place to visit and look around, its suppose to be free of radiation though back when it was open there was a spill of Cobalt-60 which is a form a radioactive powder, which got in there. That might explain the Dawsonville people.
